New Office Hours to Better Serve You!

I’ve rearranged my “day job” so that I can be available during normal business hours for my clients. In the past, there have been many times when a client has needed to talk to me during the day and has been unable to do so. But now that I’ve switched to working nights, my days between 8:00AM and 3:30PM are now free to devote to web design, my husband and his myriad doctor appointments and other things I previously couldn’t do during normal business hours. I hope this helps deliver a better level of service to you.

Fred Hassen’s Sit Means Sit Blog

Pixelita Designs is pleased to announce the launching of the new and improved SitMeansSit.com and Fred Hassen’s Sit Means Sit Blog. Fred approached us to revamp his purely HTML site. He wanted to be able to update it and add content himself and admitted to being somewhat less than a computer god. We took his already installed theme, Semiologic, and customized it a bit and added a few more plugins and customizations for him. He can now upload his dog training videos as they are created. We also created blog banners for all his trainers blogs. SitMeansSit.com now has trainers using his remote collar training method all across the U.S. and Canada, 30 at this writing, and growing. Go, Fred!

Pixelita Designs is pleased to announce the launching of the Music Lyrics | Song Lyrics Blog. Our client already had an existing site, and wanted a WordPress blog to go with it. We weren’t hindered by having to keep the same design as the main site and in fact, were given carte blanche to create an “edgy, youthful” design. We think graphic artist Ivan Minic accomplished this. We also created several custom desktop wallpapers for the site, along with our customary recommendations for WordPress Plugins.

The Bald Sports Guy Blog

Pixelita Designs is pleased to announce the launching of The Bald Sports Guy Sports Blog, running the latest and greatest version of WordPress. Our client already had an existing site; he just wanted a blog to go with it. We created the blog with the same look and feel of the main site, added some of Ivan’s graphic arts touches (custom ad banners and buttons), some WordPress plugins, and the site is good to go. And remember, folks, Bald is the new Beautiful!

Think Pink!

I participate in the Boobiethon each year on behalf of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I plan to do so again this year, and in addition, will participate in Go Pink for October. You can too. Pink Lady

This is the latest theme from Pixelita’s graphic wizard, Ivan Minic. The layout is based on a design created for BabyGotBlog.com’s participation in the 2006 Blogathon. The site is a fixed-width, two-column design with a menu bar at the top.

This theme is from Ivan Minic and is as pink as girls can be. Would make a great bridal blog or new baby girl blog.

This theme, created by Joni Mueller for Pixelita Designs, contains a custom striped background (think Victoria’s Secret pink!); header image is a Paint Shop Pro tube; post divider graphic is True Type font Seperator (yes, I KNOW it is misspelled).

Theme Release: Two-Tone With Lots of Extras

We are proud to announce the release of a new WordPress Theme, Two Tone, by Ivan Minic. The theme has a two tone kiwi and plum color scheme, is completely fluid (good for all resolutions), has a JavaScript show/hide button for the three column bottom panel which is packed with goodies such as a User Admin Panel. This feature would be great for blogs with multiple authors! Go to our official WordPress theme site to check out a live preview of the theme and for the download. This theme currently is not widgetized, but we are working on that and expect a widgetized version later this month.
